KINDERGARTEN - 2ND GRADE
SPRING 2025
TUESDAYS
JANUARY 7 - MARCH 18
4:30-5:30PM
WHO: ALL Portland-area Kindergarten through 2nd graders. Class is limited to 10 kids.
WHAT: The perfect class to introduce your child to the world of theater!
Our youngest thespians will learn theatre exercises to encourage creativity, play, and self expression! We will play lots of theater games and explore with our imaginations.
While learning to put on a show is the ultimate goal for most of our classes as kids grow through the program, the stress of putting on a show can be overwhelming for some young kids. Kids in Theater Fun will have a chance to show what they’ve learned at an end-of-term ”show me” for their families.
WHERE: St. David of Wales - 2800 SE Harrison St., Portland 97214. Class will be held in our basement classroom.
WHEN: Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm, January 7 - March 18
HOW MUCH : $175

Additional Info:
SHOW/COSTUMES/EXTRAS: Our K-2s don’t tend to have much in the way of costumes or sets since they’re just starting out on their theater journey, but what we do use will be included in tuition (or we will ask for donations, things to borrow, etc). Each semester is different depending on our class dynamics and what our teacher thinks the kids can do with great success. The key is feeling good about what we accomplish, not pushing kids beyond their abilities.
REFUNDS: We will refund minus a $35 admin fee up to the start of class. Afterward we will refund (minus $35 admin fee plus $20 per class) up to the 3rd class. After the 3rd class there are no refunds.
WAITLIST: There is no charge to be on the waitlist. If you do not hear from us by the 3rd week of class there will no longer be spots opening up for the semester. We don’t reach out to waitlisted families unless a spot opens up.
ATTENDANCE: Attendance is important as the kids build up to their final day. There will be a “SHOW ME” on our final class day. Frequently absent kids will feel left behind and the kids who are in class will be missing partners. While this is certainly a pressure-free zone, we want to set kids up for success. Of course, if your child is sick, please keep them home. We just ask that you save play dates and other activities for other days of the week.
